Which IO area and leader is the worse? I see each MD have their favorites and protect them even if they cross the lines with employees. CP, DL and MM to start with say they team players but are only in it for themselves.

Honestly I struggle with finding competant people at all ranks in I&O. When I actually do find someone competant, I have to message them in teams instead of opening a request. Most of them are so terrible at their jobs and then they will talk down to me and refuse to do their job because they know a little more about the niche area their job title reflects they should be experts in. I would hope they know more about load balancing and networking when they are on load balancing and networking teams have Senior Manager titles and are making 2 times plus what I make.
All of I & O is favoritism.
