When colleagues and I were converted from contractors, we received a non negotiable salary offer that was identical to the contractor rate, plus or minus $10k. I'm curious if these elements were the same or different for others. Share your info if you feel inclined -- I've included mine...
I didn't convert from a contractor but they low-balled me after the interview. I walked away and then they offered me $10k more. Although the base salary was still a bit under the market I accepted the offer because the recruiter told me the bonus was "guaranteed". You can probably guess how it has been going.

Not to reveal too much but our group will be getting rid of contractors/overseas IT before the end of the year. Already commenced knowledge transfer process to onshore team.
Gender, salary, and RTO status do matter related to Schwab's layoffs and EEOC compliance, even if you don't understand the correlation yet.

I have, but Schwab is an USA company located in the USA and In USA money talks, BS walks. Period. This is business. EC folks will not take any pity on you or anyone else. It is strictly business to them. Sad but true.

This site has been valuable for information sharing among employees except when people misuse it to write negatively (and often times unfairly) about their current or former employer. They give you a paycheck every two weeks, there should be just a little bit of respect. Try living in a socialist/government run economy, see how that works out for you...Only my opinion.
