To the person who loves vaccines, the government mandate was struck down. 3M should never have complied with it, no company should have.
If you do not get the booster, then you do not get the booster.

Read the communication thoroughly and correctly before spreading concern. The communication stated that those entering off site clinics and hospitals that require vaccines (has most hospitals always have) to make sure they were caught up on their requirements. This had nothing to do with the day to day production operations. Could I see it getting pushed and coming back...yes...but for the recent communication...it was for the small % of 3Mers going into Healthcare facilities that require vaccines.

This is such a d-mb post. Telling employees to mind customer requirements is business. If you think we shouldnt call on those customers, then you are part of the problem. Recommending people get vaccines and flu shots is standard practice. There is no mandate for 3Mers.
Of all the things wrong with 3M, complying with government mandate in the early part of the pandemic and now recommending covid booster shots (just like they always have for flu shots) seems like least problematic.
If you're so anti-science maybe you should choose a less science-focused line of work.
Email sent to 3M Healthcare employees stating the CMS mandate was revoked but many customers still require and 3M supports those decisions. If you are customer facing and visit a location that requires it, you must be vaccinated. A blurb about getting vaccinated and up to date. Reach out to the 3M medical team if you have a medical reason for not being vaccinated so that they may find accommodations. For religous reasons you are not vaccinated, you are to talk to your manager.
This is false.
So, is this statement being pulled from emails made about vaccine clinics being set up in the next couple months? Is this hyperbole? Are there conversations being had behind closed doors in Maple Grove that haven't made it to plants or production employees? Or are we looking at scare tactics meant to trim numbers? What is the context here?
Out of curiosity, were there any deaths or other unexpected conditions among 3Mers ?
