Just curious if there is a “big brother” type of monitoring/surveillance that they have to monitor employee? Ensure that they are in the office and actually doing work?

Worst part is EMT and VPs know that their productivity data isn’t accurate but use it anyway to justify AI and terminations. It’s BS.

All this wondering about monitoring is insane. Of course they can monitor your computer, where your computer is, what network you're on, if your badged in or out and ALL of the security cameras.
If your on CCI property they can see you and if you have your laptop they know your location and if you're on your laptop they know what your doing If you don't know that in 2023 you probably need some help. Really really need help.
Security cameras : there once was a guy that dismantled A cube as a ha ha to have better access to neighbor. Just removed a panel. It was funny and all in good fun until mgmt started b*tchin. Then everyone played d-mb. Mgmt produced a "still" of the person doing it. Close up and from an angle that ya just couldn't find a camera.

Yep. They can also tell which network you are connected to. So those people who think they can sneak in and out at lunch and work remotely, you will get caught. That’s why badging in for your buddies doesn’t work.
I’m sure over 50% of the workforce isn’t “productive”. What are they going to do? Fire us? Lol
This isn’t new at all. They even knew if the seatbelt wasn’t buckled if you put company vehicle in drive.
Crown does do that. They monitor all activity. Check the Viva app and you'll see your productivity score. Also, ES monitors all your activity through the SOC. They collect all the sites you go to and how long you are on them. As a director I got the reports monthly and I could see your productivity scores at anytime, updated daily.
To locate the app, in Teams or email, click the top right. You will see Viva Insights. Click into it and you can get to your scores. Itshows if you are busy, if you have too many meetings, too much downtime, etc. The director sets the numbers and gets a report if yours are too low or too high. It's how we know if we need to hire, which we don't follow.
If you use a "jiggler" we will know. The SOC will disable the mouse and force you to use your pad if caught. I know my department we caught several.
yes they monitor badge swipes to ensure youre coming in, its common knowledge and its not out of the ordinary for a company to do that.. your manager can pull a rpt at any time to check and so can your director/vp
they can also check basically any of your activity on your computer, again this isnt out of the ordinary for a company to do it. there are softwares that can monitor everything you do and boil it down to a productivity score. does crown do that? not to my knowledge. typically theyll only check this stuff if your manager requests it
