Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

Nielsen should freeze, stop or lower field bonuses to save jobs.

Do you see people at Best Buy selling TVs earning spiffs or bonuses? Elimination of bonuses could lead to saving millions and also ensuring homes are recruited that want to stay in sample instead of just being a number for a membership or field rep.

I think they could cap bonuses at $200 a month and then that would still work. It would save the company money for sure. They could also lower sign-up incentives.

Best Buy employees DO get incentives for selling TVs. They also receive an appropriate hourly wage for their position.

As someone who has to deal with the aftermath of what happens when reps straight up lie to panelists to get them to agree so they can meet their quota for their bonus all the freaking time.. I agree with this 100%. Field recruited homes usually are far far worse performing than Call Center recruited homes for a reason.
