I'm tempted to quit Crown and become happily unemployed rather than being miserable all the time. I'm still too scared to do it, but at some point, I feel like it will become too much and I'll just walk out. And yes, I've been trying to find something new but so far I've had no luck.

I did it. 3 weeks before the layoff after 22 years. I’m happier than I’ve ever been and good riddance to an ungrateful employer and a truly cruel, misogynistic boss.
Look at another industry. Don’t need to be with these shady people. Where’s Jay now? Hiding? Clearly! Haven’t heard from him in a while after he did his dirty work and wiped his hands clean.
Now isn’t the time to be looking for a job in telecom. Too many telecom pros that are unemployed and will work for peanuts. I left at just the right time I tried to tell others to come with me but they didn’t listen. Now they’re regretting it because they’re either unemployed or overworked.
You're not alone. I don't think it's a coincidence that the EMT is showing their truest colors as the economy is tanking. With layoffs everywhere, record high housing costs, rampant inflation, a lot of us don't have many options. They know it and they're going to abuse that fact.
