Anything we think will be announced at this, or will it be generally pointless? Do I log on at 7 AM to pretend I care?

Evertime Roman appears in Townhalls, he looks more and more clueless.
This company is pitiful. I pray I can find me something decent to retire on. 3m is cutting hours to benefit salary workers or to help them keep their jobs. I’m sick of it
Nothing useful information. No talks about growth actions as usual.
What happened at the CEO huddle today?
With so many factories on furlough, it won't be surprise if they announce another big cut in these 2 quarters. Sit tight.
My guesses:
- New CEO - Doubtful - 10% chance- would have to tell Wall St first, not at 7am.
- Division/IMPD sale - Possible, 30% chance, but would need to tell Wall St. at same time.
- SpinCo - Naming is possible (30%) also is finalizing date (30% March)
- Layoffs - Even money bet more get announced (50%)
- Ethics will probably get mentioned (75%)
- Litigation will probably get mentioned (75%), but nothing new will get announced.
Gibbons as CEO is a pipe dream. It's Monish for RemainCo. Better question is whether they give Monish all three titles (President, CEO, Chair) or just the first two. Making a separate Chair from CEO would be smart, but this BOD is not smart.
Trust the process
These are the possibilities I’m thinking of:
- New CEO
- Division sale
- SpinCo
- Layoffs
- Announcing new reorg and model called 3M Ahead replacing Advanced 3M/3M Forward (kidding)
- recent litigation update to give themselves a round of applause
- Highlighting the importance of Ethics & Compliance
Either way, the important part of it will be in an email directly proceeding or following the huddle.
It's about time MR announce his retirement and allow 3 months to transition.
