@1dob+1orhgmgV Dennis Howard confirmed 5% company wide at his leadership all hands 2 weeks ago. So I don’t know where the other numbers are coming from but that was from the horse’s mouth—-but hey let’s just make up fake numbers to rile the internet critters!

Compared to other organizations, like S.H.I.E.L.D. There is just one director, Director Fury. But they got a ton of agents though....

Just learned I'm under 2 layers of directors and 4 layers of managing directors. I don't think any of them manage more than 4 people. Ridiculous.

I have heard 20% for MDs and 18% for directors. I’ve also heard they want to get to seven levels from Walt so reduce some of the layering/matrixing.

The percentage of employees to be laid off is not confirmed at 5%. I have heard and even read on this site 5 - 20%. UBS is in news laying off 3000 employees. So many firms are announcing layoffs and either provide a percentage or employee count and when. Schwab just creates anxiety by saying layoffs, general timeframe and misinfo of percentage. Why won’t they announce percentage or employee number ? It is a fact, and we have always known layoffs will occur as we merge, just be straightforward with facts.

If this was actually from the EC, it would say "We did it! We successfully led you through the first acquisition of any import in this industry! We showed you who and what mattered, and made the world safe for democracy, profit and baby animals! Even though it's not done we're going tell everybody it's done so we don't have to revise our timelines again or otherwise change our mind about other permanent decisions we made. You are all welcome, now, GTFO!

This post is so true. The Schwab culture is officially dead. The gravestone should read as follows “Here lies the one great Charles Schwab whom was run into the ground by the extremely greedy and deceitful executive committee. This once great company when run by Chuck himself was a company people love to work at. Today it is a cesspool of greedy executives that could care less about employee culture and engagement and care only about lining their own pockets.

Thank you EC. We did this for you all. Your leadership is truly inspiring, for generations of Schwabbies. Whether we are Green or Blue, seasoned or newly hired, you show that you care. We can’t ask for anything more from such great leaders. We own our tomorrow, and work as hard on our 1st day, 100th day, 3650th day, or our last day. Viva la Schwab!!!
