A mom can't see to shop over her sitting child. The shopping carts are too tall. So why? NOTE built into the shopping cart is a holder for the customer's phone. Why do that? The shopper will be directed by the app download that will replace sales floor associates. LAYOFFS are built in too.

Once you see the walmart corp spin alot of posters get paid to see you go over the cliff.
Where is all the automation and robotics to replace the retail worker bee? Corporate capitalist employment, let's take your mask off to see who you really are! It's slavery with extra steps!
I’m amazed at how ignorant many of the OP’s on this site are. There is no “master plan” when something like this happens.
Layoffs? Doubt it. They cannot staff the stores now. Silly!! Here’s a thought. Pay employees a decent living wage and treat them like PEOPLE not work machines. Appreciate those who show up and work hard every day and don’t constantly call in. That’s s start.

Bring that layoff! I can collect unemployment until I find a much more dignified job! Ya'll know!
The new shopping cart also has a drink holder. BFD.
The new carts are beefier, roll straighter and easier. The carts are safer and there’s fewer rough spots. The paint and rollers are upgraded, as well.
Why wouldn’t we want these improvements for our customers?
