I could see this happening. Let’s be honest, they pretty much do that now. Most of our door requests go right to them so we have more time to service less needy customers. Wouldn’t it make sense? I for one being over Specialty would love to have more time to help other customers instead of finding a way to make your $4000 order happen with $1200. Millwork is dead but you get that one id--t trying to nickel and dime their new door. Let IHC stress at their home like they make us stress with their reorders. I’m all for this
Job eliminations and layoffs, oh my !
OH, I get it, they are working from home !
Sales specialists altogether are going to be phased out. With central quoting and IHC now receiving that workflow, they’re simply no longer needed.
I know what I do.
The virtual team will be getting all of it. I heard the flooring specialist may be on the chopping block as well. The solution seems to be to outsource everything. The Virtual Team can really sc--w quotes up. We've lost customers over the errors they make.
Sasm told one of the pro specialists that millwork specialist positions would be eliminated in 2024. IHC is supposed to take over, so csa will just put in a lead instead of selling a detail.
That would be stupid, but I would be ok with it. Pay me the same and make me a CSA V.
That would be a bad move by corporate.
I find it hard to believe that your store manager would release that info before a corporate announcement
Last I saw, the In Home Consultant program was being restructured and down sized, especially in lower volume stores.
