Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Simply disappointing

What a difference 1 year makes. From the grand promises Alan made August last year, to where we are today…hollow promises and empty words. I, for one, really wanted to believe he was genuinely sincere.

Then came the 10M payout, the filing for chapter 11 which he promised he’ll never do, to the broken commitment to have just one round of layoffs. This place is not healthy anymore. AM is just no trustworthy.

This site doesn't allow more than one comment. But classic Avaya gaslighters if anyone uses proper critical thinking skills

Is this the same person making comments on comments? The language seems the same.

Alan...you really should be ashamed of yourself. Hope you dont actually believe most employees are believing anything you say anymore. Too bad you couldnt just have done the right thing even though that path would have been tougher and less lucrative for you.

From a financial perspective Avaya has emerged from bankruptcy, but what Alan can't see is he is still morally bankrupt as a leader. He keeps saying "many tough decisions have been made", but that's a shallow statement to make when you have no skin in the game. No true leader would have taken a huge payout amidst all these “tough decisions”. That’s why it is so easy for him to forget and move on, he has no integrity. At the end of the day these employees are real people, to him they are just numbers. This isn't simply disappointing, it's an abomination of what he has done to so many people’s lives. It will take people coming together as a cohesive team working hard for Avaya to succeed. I have a hard time seeing that happen under Alan's morally bankrupt leadership.
