Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

No leaks

I wonder if MDs really have the list ready considering nothing is leaked about the timing at all. Strange! May be they might push this entire ordeal to October

No leaks because HR has the cut info. The people saying lowest level MD know are wrong. SVPs know

Schwab layoffs do not happen on Fridays and has nothing to do with pay periods.

Most layoffs at Schwab don't happen on Fridays.

Expect layoffs to start on Tuesdays and end on Thursdays. I wouldn't expect pay period to play a factor.

So if we narrow down by end of pay weeks and that most layoffs occurs on Fridays, i guesstimate 9/8 or 9/22nd. I’m a nobody so just guesstimating.

October seems too late... with the 2 months you get, that means 'officially' you are let go in December. Really bad press "Schwab lays of thousands before Christmas holiday". Guess is between Sept 11th & 22nd....
