I didn't shed a tear. This company has no loyalty to its employees. The higher ups are self consumed and very unfair. They underpay and promote based on tribalism.
Did anyone shed a tear when realizing this once a good company has become a nuisance?

Yea, I’ve noticed this company has been nothing but buzzwords and platitudes on those town halls. Nielsen has been so damn focused on the equity score and virtue signaling instead of things that would actually push the business forward. God forbid we focus on doing good work and provide a solid product.
I came here to say the same thing- I'm just now leaving the Nielsen trap. But I was about 5 years, and I'm surprised they didn't have 'atta boy' quotas. Even when I knew I was going above and beyond, I think my boss would have rather taken a bullet than acknowledge the hard work.
The only people I feel bad for are the lower level employees- MRs, FRs, and PRSs. Nielsen has absolutely no loyalty to their employees. I gave over a decade to this job. Finally found a better place of employment, and hearing the things middle management had to say about me after I busted my butt for 10 years? Disgusting. Amazing how a manager that can't do any of what a FR can, has the ability to determine if we're doing our jobs well. I just hope the guys are able to jump ship before things really go down hill.
I feel bad Nielsen was bought and re-bought by financiers who consider Nielsens only purpose is to enrich shareholders. Company is setup for long-term failure when the products, employees and clients are considered negative by leader,
