I swear, some people don't understand that you can criticize something and either be stuck there or actually like some aspects of your job but have issues with others. What do you gain from telling me to quit if I don't like it here? Why does my displeasure affect you so much? I'd really like to know.

You’re a crybaby.
Stop saying anything negative must always drink the kool-aid
These are exactly the questions that the EC should be asking themselves and actions they should be taking, but their hubris is far too great.
Your attitude may be impacting others on the team or partners you work with.
You are likely impacting your own reputation in the process. So while you may have aspects you like, how are the ones you don’t manifesting? Are you aware of how your team is perceiving you?
Maybe seek out some people who will tell you honestly, so you can keep your negativity in check?
It's a logical response when you spend your time crying.
@tuw+1okIzxuk - There are two issues with this:
- ) The negative thing in question is leadership, not the job. If leadership were to be replaced, the problem would right itself.
- ) Moving jobs involves risk even in the strongest job market, and we are far from that. Unless you are advocating to out and out quit working altogether, which if so you have a bigger nest egg than I do, moving to a new position takes time.
I tell them: quit coming to thelayoff if you don't like hearing it
It’s a logical conclusion to make when one describes how much something negatively affects the them. Remove the negative thing.
It's an attrition tactic.
