It's as if respect, development and energy has become a zero sum game due to the ranking system. Everyone knows where everyone stands or at least can make a good assumption. Kissing up to favorites is seen as a way to curry favor with SLS and higher. The converse is also true. Openly disrespecting someone who is down in the lower buckets validates senior management and is another way to curry favor, i.e."see, I'm not like him...". The ranking system and now even d-mber bucket system brings us straight back to HS.
I'd rather get out of this plantation system altogether.
Yet I was born and raised in it. Table was set.
