Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Avaya is back?

Why so many job cuts?

Why no cost of living package to meet inflation over 3 years and running, but can hire huge $$$ executives!

Employees have lost all morale, team work, fear of more job cuts looming. No incentives to stay!!!

Patents that are being used as collateral for active loans cannot be sold.

The resale value of patents that have been widely licensed is zero.

Does Avaya have any patents that aren’t in at least one of those categories?

Avaya scared off the independent resellers of its cloud products over the last two chapter 11’s. Avaya bankrupted many of its regional resellers without a care in the world. The fear now is if Avaya fails again, which is likely, sellers lose all recurring sales commission paid to them by Avaya. Why would any reseller in it right Business mind put in the effort to sell Avaya when there are so many good UC and CCaaS solutions available who are financially solid and are market leaders?

Because it's Alan-co. Or Alan-ya.

He is on his road show as his objective is to find a buyer or investors so he can be freed from the Apollo handcuffs. And then it's HIS Company. That has Always been the objective.
