Thread regarding Medtronic Inc. layoffs

Is RDN program done and dusted? thanks for the leadership Geoff

So embarrassing that a small unknown company Recor Medical was able to get their therapy approved, whereas Medtronic couldn’t.

Another feather in Geoff’s cap, bravo! Hoping you will get another $20M this year

Can RDN employees expect layoffs soon?

Wait until the yahoos who obnoxiously complain about DEI read that one of the criticisms was the test population was not diverse enough for what the FDA wanted to see…

RDN is a nightmare to manufacture. Better off than another FDA recall.

They need to be able to clearly identify a responder before cooking or attempting to cook the sympathetic renal innervation. There's a wide range of responses with about 1/3 getting an outcome on par with ReCor.

Another $800M Medtronic acquisition that's a bust. Sure glad we had sham control clinical data before opening the purse strings, NOT!

Yes, it was disappointing to see the results. Even on the efficacy results a good number of people did not vote positively.

I think an approval will still come but target population might not be the same. This could mean new challenges in reimbursement. Overall the situation is uncertain.
