Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Why do we have to wait

Until the next pay period to get the severance? They can just as easily send it on the following Friday like they pay expense reimbursements. They really want to make our credit suffer and miss bill payments.

“I received the updated severance email on Friday.”
Can you please elaborate on the email you received on Friday? It doesn’t seem that many of us received any correspondence on Friday. We received an email on Thursday, but it said the severance letters would be coming 8-25 to 8-29.

I received the updated severance email on Friday. How could some be effected by the failure to file and not all?

There is a filing against Crown Castle due to failure of the WARN notice. Several employees have a severance addendum in their contracts which may force Crown to keep payroll active until Oct 24, then the severance is to be paid. Due to this filing Crown will be contacting people by Tuesday Aug 29, 2023 of the updated severance details.

This was sent to me yesterday when I asked my ex-manager of why no letter since other emails were ignored to business support.

A little confused on this side. No letter yet besides what was signed day of layoff notice but we have a WARN starting Aug 25th till Oct 24th followed by the severance? Am I missing something or is everyone different?

They just stalled 2 weeks on paying us. I don’t know why I’m shocked but I am.
