Thread regarding Morgan Stanley layoffs

NO layoff in 2nd half of 2023 - too many doers were laid off

Some people realized that many "doers" were laid off and MS is left with a relatively over-abundance of "talkers". MS needs to beef up some hiring process for "doers".

They do not need anybody except for the ones who they deem deserving to be on the sinking boat with them. Do not even try to rescue them. Rescue yourself. See what happened to their earnings again? Nobody cares about the company. While still there, enjoy yourself.

Place is a joke, soon they will increase the in office days from 3 to 4. I know some areas require 5 days in office, but they make a lot of money

Just go to Home Depot to recruit. That is where doer's go to get stuff done.

Then how can they get the job done with so many talkers or there is actually not much work anyway? If profit continues to drop, more layoffs will come. Usually a new CEO also brings in more changes. It will be an exciting year.

Morgan Stanley is full of talkers. Talkers are at high positions and they like to promote birds of the same feather. Talkers think doers are stupid and deserves to stay low because doers know only do the work.

If that’s the case the answer is to RIF some talkers.
