Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Can I Get A Reliable God D@mn Schedule!?

This is how scheduling works in my store…

It gets posted three weeks out and stays the same UNTIL three days before the actual scheduled week arrives (That’s Wednesday) then the ENTIRE schedule changes! Not only do your hours change, but your days off as well. Oh, and as far as that little part in the Lowe’s policy about being informed of these changes. Yeah, that’s not happening. The only response you’ll get when you ask or complain about having the rug pulled out from under you is, “You were told to check your schedule daily, so eat $h!t and d!e. My schedule effectiveness scores need to be at 95 so f*ck off.”

Complaining to ANYONE results in NOTHING. The store manager is barely in the store and pays ZERO attention to this. If your life is thrown into chaos because your schedule suddenly changed, well, that’s your own d@mn problem.

And they wonder why the morale in the store is awful and why the call outs are an epidemic. If you treat everyone like they’re expendable then the job becomes expendable too. You can’t treat people like $h!t and expect them to care. Is anyone in this g0d d@mn company ever going to learn that?

Oh, and on another topic, the LTR scores are being rigged. The management regularly takes cash transactions off of the computer and phones in survey responses from outside the store. That’s so none of this can be tracked back to them. This happens all the time and it’s a known issue throughout the ENTIRE COMPANY. This is also known at the top of the company, so when you show that stupid green map every week on your cable access show, just know that everyone is laughing at you. M0r0n$.

You are right. Scheduling is all over the place. Definitely out of hand. So much for work/home balance. Oh, by the way....throwing a breadcrumb bonus out ahead of the survey is not going to save you Marvin. You can't buy loyalty.

Take a photo or print out your schedule. Work your schedule, too bad if they change it 3 days prior.

The schedule thing is messed up. It should be brought to the attention of store management. If nothing is done, contact the associate care line.
Regarding the LTR, you should report that to LP either by email, phone, the link to report theft in AP4Me or put in an anonymous HR ticket. People, including management have been let go for fraudulent LTRs, especially buying them.
