Let's just say that Mike ran the GE playbook to name his up and coming successor. He didn't have any business leaders worthy, so he ran his finance guy versus his supply chain guy. Finance guy won out, setting up potential major clashes between the new president and the now angry supply chain guy who was left in the dust. Per the GE playbook, the supply chain guy has been told to move on and spread his wisdomto the business world. Could there be an announcement soon that supply chain guy will be awakening sleeping giants at GE?

Pete got his quick high by laying off centuries of expertise and juicing the short term numbers. He’ll bail before the consequences of his actions take full effect and the next joker will spend 3 years “failing to deliver” as they rehabilitate the mess.
Bilbo probably has a job at Kearney lined up.
Very disappointed that Gibbons didn't get the job. He was doing a great job restructuring a comatose organization. Monish couldn't run a Salvation Army thrift store.
