Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Work hard on TD integration. Once we’re done…

We’ll eliminate your job.

  • EC

At last year’s DS all hands in December, I vividly remember several MDs saying the year ahead in 2023 will require a lot of late nights and weekends from the teams working on the integration.

Look at how they’re treating us now that the biggest TG is near.

Everyone, let this be a reminder to never, ever miss your kids birthdays, performances/sports, or quality time in for…work.

if you are a contractor, try to find out which of the 2 sources is funding your role.

  1. CPMO = ppl not working on TG
  1. IMO = ppl who ARE working on TG. Not eligible for conversions to FTE. lose funding after TG. contracts to end

How many worked on the integration that are at risk?

The layoffs in 2019 were like 3% of staff. So 97% of people stayed.

Using logic, the vast majority of employees today, will be here after layoffs. You may be here and I may be gone. Who knows. It’s out of my hands at this point.

I can be bitter and mad and bring my team down… they will be happy when I leave. Or I can do my job and hope some of them will be references for me for my next job.

Perspective dude
