Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

I think I'll wait to take the mandatory Respectful Workplace Training.

Pretty sure I won't be around when it is due and the irony of the topic has me thinking it will be a bunch of "Do as I say, not as I do".

"" There is no hurry on this. Its due more than 1 1/2 months away.""

Unless you are in an overachieving Org where there is imposed competition to be the first team done (and you bet your bopper it is tracked...just like the Santa tracker come Christmas eve), and if you don't like to WIN, you better have it all done by mid September regardless.

Someone that has two free hours to block off on their calendar now before the last transition group goes, is someone that can and will be cut.

There is no hurry on this. Its due more than 1 1/2 months away.

Anyone on here trying to scare ppl that if you don't complete this training now, you'll be put on some sort of cut list is lying and has another agenda.

Do it before the deadline. And with all training, its important but secondary to your primary work tasks.

Managers get reports in MyTraining and know who completed it, who got started and who didn't get started. At least at SAMS this is discussed. They want 100% participation. If all of your peers are done and you are not, this is absolutely known. FYI

I'm "glad" I'm not the only one who got the email about the training. I was already looking over my shoulder wondering if I mispronounced someone's pronouns.

I would recommend doing it. It will help you protect yourself from commiting harassment or discrimination so you can avoid getting sued if you are on your way out. Also it can help you identify if you have been harassed or discriminated against by others even higher ups and who to report it to. OP wants you to avoid this so Schwab does not get in trouble..
