Don't forget the AOP planning at Medtronic! Q1 is the smallest of all quarters, the real fun starts from Q2!

During AOP leaders are pressed to claim double digit growth for the following year with very little planning on how that will occur. Market share is hard to move and most mature segments have settled into the number of procedures they will do annually. Without investment in revolutionary products, new segments, nor share taking flat performance should be your expectation.

At some point, the sky high expectation of double digit growth will fall back to earth. This type of business thinking of quick growth and profits will never work.

Beats going backward... I don't think anyone with a brain expected double digit
