All things considered, it was actually a very good report. That being said, more expense-cutting(i.e. payroll reduction) is coming.

You know they cooked the books. Now after the Employee Survey is taken they turn the screws on the employees.
Do the stores near you or in your state have low morale? No foot traffic? Miss plan ALL THE TIME??

Earnings "beat" but dont forget they lowered forecasts nearly 30 times this year leading up to this. Also, "earnings" is now the same as making money, its complicated accounting trickery and we wll know how many things have neen cut, and how short stuffed stores are and how associates are being told not to come in or go home to save on payroll.
Also, revenue was down so yes, they didnt make sales either.
