Things will not improve. Alteryx hasn't been the same company it once was for a while now. Years ago, this was a great place for smart, ambitious young people but now any career progression has been brought to a crawl. Add to that layoffs and lacking pay increases and bonuses, and there's no reason to stay here.

Managers will string you along with sh-t performance based raises. It's almost worth it to completely check the fu-k out and still perform above par. Or job hop. Pick one. Or maybe let the market pick for you as it's horrible right now.
If we hired people (engineering) who could learn by reading book(s), article(s), maybe having 10+ browser tabs open and having some ounce of ability to recall information.... I'm convinced a number of engineers have selective dyslexia when it comes to reading technical text that goes beyond a high school level. No one wants to read a 500 page book over the week vs being spoonfed the exact lines to write for their user story.
Ex.
Feature XYZ can be completed a number of ways. Go find out the best way. We really need it to do ABC.
Senior engineer being paid over 200K:
Completely blanks out and has no idea how to even start the feature. Gets pointed to some resources. Over the next several weeks, asks really basic questions over and over again, maybe some 1:1 meetings and chats where information is basically spoonfed. After maybe several iterations, a cr-p implementation is written where they are crucified in an MR. They may bi--h about lack of WLB or concrete requirements, when it is literally in their job description to work with vague requirements.
Managers have lied all year around. I can 100% guarantee that they knew exactly who was being laid off and between them they had a scorecard of who's got the most certs and therefore staying and those who did not achieve many certs were let go. No other metrics were taken Into consideration... didn't even matter if you smashed your sales target...
Never seen such brutality
I think managers are incentivized to not let go of anyone, as it is seen as a mistake on their part.
They are also incentivized to grow a team and progress the career of team members. Which leads to bad hires that they can't fire, and people getting promoted ala participation trophy.
The sh-t show is sad, but sort of fun to watch.
Just handed in a sick note for a month. I'll use this time to look for another role. I'm done with Alteryx. It's the worst place I have ever worked at.
Letting my manager know this week that I’m moving on for greener pastures. I e had enough of the Alteryx drama over the past 9 months…
Already interviewing and have three more lined up in the next two weeks I should be gone by October. Not a minute too soon.
Good analytics software engineers continue to be in demand. Talking nearly tripling my Alteryx salary.
I spent the weekend tuning up my resume and finding open roles. Hoping to jump off this crashing bus soon.
