Almost the end of the day and still haven't been told which side I'm going to. As a generalist we were told we would find out today and still haven't heard a word. Anyone else hear anything?

Why the he-l did they just name the ATM side Cardtronics? Alot better than @Leos.
I landed on Voyix and I prefer retail as I do both financial and retail. Just don’t know if I landed on the side with job security
I got hired before the pension ended so will have a very small pension from NCR one day, I went over to Atleos. Others without pensions went to Atleos as well.
Will be interesting to see what the starting pay is once hiring for the 2 sides begin. Do wages increase or decrease.
After a lot of thought I think I've figured this out. Knowing that the pensions are moving forward with the ATM company and speaking to many other employees. It appears to me that employees NOT owed a pension now or in the future have gone to the new company. This will make it much easier to sell off. Anyone else reading the tea leaves this way and coming to the same conclusion ?
Saw that Atleos employees are actually going to be paid by Cardtronics, why even bother with a name change.
Benefits are expected to change next year.
The crickets are part of this fog people are in. Some thought a layoff was about to happen, now they still are employed but no one knows how this will evolve. Other then tons of systems issues, our CE generalists pre split are still doing the same job for now.
It’s like people have been sedated to a point they just ignore what the company’s vision is, wake up, you are all about to be sold off, years of service and loyalty means nothing to ncr, they only want to be a software company.
And now crickets..
Systems are still half down. Not looking good going into operational day one.
So is Cardtronics LLC, Atleos or Voyix? Inquiring minds want to know
NCR bought them a couple of years ago. Just search the name online.
Cardtronics, LLC???? What is that all about?
As of Sept 1st we are now known as Cardtronics LLC. Something fishy is a brewing. Maybe Cardtronics will be easier to sell.
Post ID: @agov+1od10ECZ That's because managers aren't really managers anymore and have no power what so ever. They're middleman stupidvisors as John Taffer would calll them.
That light you see is not the end of the tunnel.
It’s a south bound freight train with everyone’s name on it
They don’t tell you everything only enough to keep you hopeful. One week before laying off a bunch of people the manager said he had a pretty good conversation that his team was good. Everyone had a sigh of relief on his team. Monday they were given 2 weeks notice even the manager. This was at my time there. If you like the drama and uncertainty then stay. But personally I’d look for better pastures. There is nothing here that set them apart from working somewhere else. Keep your doors open for other possibilities. You should be able to go out do you job and come home and relax, not worry if your that your on some list. Again they offer nothing positive to stay.
What a disaster !
Keep you seat belt fastened, there will be turbulence!
Not according to my.meeting today, changes take effect Monday in my area
Seems like the significant changes don’t take effect until next year?
Exactly what they want you to think. The best parts are yet to come trust me.
Looks like everyone is happy now, everyone knows everything and employment will be flowers and roses from here on, things are back to normal.
The day ATM’s go away will be the day Skynet goes on-line.
ATMs may die off someday but not anytime soon. We are installing atms in left and right. Our ATMs in our territory i bet tripled in the Last 10 years. Maybe depending on where you are. Lots and lots of people still using ATM in my area. We are also putting in itms as banks are getting rid of tellers.
5 TM’s, an install manager, and a Cardtronics manager terminated on Tuesday in Canada, anyone I. The USA have anything to report?
I disagree with the ATM and cash being dead. I use ATM weekly and pay cash when I can.
Cash does not get hacked.
Cash does not lock up and need reboot.
Cash still works when network is down.
The Voyix side is going lower wages and contract work (Field Nation/essential) IMO. Atleos took the higher paid CE’s and will likely sell itself of layoff once they see their actual demand after split is completed.
Well we have our meetings tomorrow but from the invite lists on the teams meeting we are NCR Voyix 10 techs and Atleos 28 techs. We lost 4 of our retail techs over to Atleos so running pretty slim. I guess with bigger SLA's they can afford to run a slim schedule?
I see a comment that ATM is the future (financial) ???? Banking on the cell phone is the future, nobody uses cash anymore, cash is decreasing every year, someone correct me if I am wrong, but the future is already here, ATM is not it, phone APP banking is here, lucky if I use an ATM 6 times a year now, and never go into a bank branch? Open your eyes!
Tm got nuked from orbit
My theory of why the staffing is so much higher for fin is the atm as a service. They are pushing hard for all cust to join this! It secures the business client for NCR for years I think that’s why the networking exp techs got moved over. With that program it’s a one stop shop! With machine prices and banks so tight I think that’s the future.
Yes I found out my side, but to above comments more techs went to atm than retail even though retail is the busier side. My team got 10 less ppl than what fin did! But they are not hiring on the atm in my territory but are for retail! I figure for lower wages and to have somebody to train new hires! But our area tripled in size so I can see why they made the picks they did!
The only news we got was our TM was let go. It was a long time coming. We will know more tomorrow of our alignment
Retail is always condsidered to be the step child in this company because it is less profitable. Back to basics, we will all get emails for the trivia once we splited. Loca, engine shut off time, ccpdn, surplus, suspending calls with parts available from your buddy, etc...
Looks like generalist areas went heavily to Atleos side. Retail basically gutted with new hiring needed to bring up that staff level. New hires with lower starting wages. Apparently Atm techs will need to cover retail side till end of the year.
Found out today on my day off. Mandatory call from our TM. So being moved from retail to ATM with zero training on ATM. I have network call experience and that’s what it’s based on which is ridiculous. Not a good idea when you already have really good staffing and are sacrificing my retail account by only leaving 1 experienced person to cover it. Will be leaving this wretched company soon. Best of luck to those that remain.
This must the the “full transparency” the all hands panel discussed.
Managers know where the CE’s are going, but are not releasing the info.
Don't worry there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Whichever Company I end up working for, I want to work for the other one :(
What a joke this is, thought I would be getting some clarity on what the future is but nope, just more uncertainty. No word from our existing TM.
We find out on Tuesday but by the invite email i got today already know who is atm and who is retail.
