Even if he or she had all the insider info and decided to spill the beans, it would most likely be some twisted version of the truth or a flat-out lie. What we need to do instead of waiting for them to tell us what's going on is rely on good old communication, swap stories, dig through the grapevine, and try to put the pieces together based on what we've gathered. Right now, it's all about educated guesses.

we all have tried "educated guesses" and so far nothing. the next date that has been thrown around on here is 10 October with another being 13 October...and the possibility of it being done by org vs one big sweeping one...
Assume it has to happen mid october, because (heard today) real estate plans for seating and team location will be distributed december. Because it isnt just the layoff, it is also the team shuffle thats gonna happen too...
From past examples, leaders with someone "effected" are going to have to complete a training before hand.. so once leaders start doing these trainings i am sure this place will get blown up
