Mike Roman is Chairman of the board. He isn't firing himself or Monish. Other's are right though. If any of us rubes had the performance of those at the top we would be long gone. True sign of weak leadership is lack of self awareness and inability to inspire any kind of momentumn and having a one play playbook. Trust the process my ar-e.
Approaching a 20 year low but the board does nothing. That's some fine work there folks. Books will be written about the disaster of this team's legacy.
How M&M have kept their jobs this long is far beyond my comprehension. There is a long list of CEOs and CFOs elsewhere who decided to "pursue outside opportunities/ spend more time with their families" (i.e. were fired) for far better results than M&M have been able to deliver.
Unlocking "value" the GE way! It worked there so well, might as well try it again!
Moni goes to the investor confidence and opens his big mouth. In response, the stock has dropped ~$20/share. The BOD has got to fire the M&M show and get some real leaders in place.
I wonder what Roman has to revive the failing Organization? Why is he not leaving?
I “trust the process”. Please give supreme leader Money Moni a couple years - he will guarantee $50 stock price. What is more worrying is the complete evaporation of culture and decency in the workplace! The Board should do an independent review of Moni’s treatment of employees!
