What’s going on with the hacking of Resideo camera doorbell and our security systems?
Heard yesterday from some employees that there is an exploit to run code directly on the hardware anyone can vouch for an upcoming solution? What can one do?

Doubtful. There reports by users that it sometimes short circuits adding to the lithium ion battery overheating.
Possibly issues with the software having too many NOOP in the code. besides the QA testing was lacking
I would not be surprised if that BLE device ends up shocking the buyer due to its faulty connections coupled with bad design. While the testing is known who invented this failure?
Typical resideo. Quick where the carpet where we bury under our lies and our failed projects?
We have known this had been going on for years we just assumed nobody would find it (except our competitors)
Newsflash:
No hardware hacking in resideo led to any loss.
Therefore no issues.
So what’s next?
It does make sense if the goal is to inflate numbers and put as many gallons of lipstick in the pig as possible…

It’s always the same story… some fellow railroads others and pushes for a cr-p solution and resideo goes down and takes a hit. When will we learn to layoff those responsible???
