Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

DESTINATION = AM Becomes Majority Owner and then Sells Avaya for over $1B

That is the DESTINATION

  1. Needs to lean out that balance sheet as much as possible to meet Apollo holding goals.
  1. Doesn't matter if Avaya is devalued or shrinks in the process. In fact, that helps him as Apollo will be more willing to allow him to find private investors to buy Apollo out.
  1. This will be a competiton between Avaya International who also desires to take over ownership

Once ownership is guned, then they will focus on growth initiatives. Yet not until they have ownership.

Destination....
Just not a Destination place to Work!

Laying in a bed of Roses is prickly, thorny and dangerous.
Did they intend "rose petals" and fail miserably, like all of the paid off consultants do on a regular basis?

I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble, but Avaya is not worth a billion dollars, far from it. But good luck with it.

Why such aggression?

What are we missing?

Aside from the obvious of a desperate need for natural attrition:

  • Is SEC Investigation/settlement about to come out?
  • Cloud Beta clients not doing well?
  • Need to bring in more Vonage buddies but not enough budget?

Please can someone tell me how I can turn my debt into a bed of roses too? That would be most wonderful!

🌹 🌹 🌹 Isn't it all just a "Bed of Roses" ?🌹🌹 🌹🌹

So confused! We achieved a Bed of Roses on July 4th (as that was a perfectly normal day to run that placed story)
