Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Are technology jobs going to be moved to consulting companies?

Since consulting companies already have huge presence in the firm especially in technology, would these jobs going to be moved to them and employees transferred? It did happen before and happening at other companies

Citi technology department is staffed with outdated senior management leadership that has been with the firm 20 years, some even 30 years. These corrupt leader operate like mafia.
Citi needs to get rid of this rotten leaders and bring a new generation of leaders.

Heard the same from my friends in alumni meetup. Most technology teams will be moved offshore for companies. Business runs here. All other companies are also preparing for similar layoff in 2024
