And they're failing at shareholder profits too lmao
What IS Geoff doing right?! Anything??
Agreed, Earl would be so disappointed in the company today with its focus on shareholder profits over its own people and patients.
It's a group jack off session up top. They all know they're playing a game and everyone's got a role. No one up there gives two shts about the company or its longevity. Earl would be turning over in his grave if he saw what these asholes did to his company.
No, just look at BD folks that bring in cr-ppy deals and take promotions; then divest those deals for another promotion. Zero accountability on deal performance.
How can someone so bad at his job like GM still have a job? If it was one of us that tanked MDT stock, we would have been laid off months ago.
Yup they'll probably split like GE did.
Going to hit the 50s.
Anyways, since layoffs, stock dipped from 85-90 down to 77 so far. Conservative $8/share is a reduction of $10B of shareholder value erased, or put otherwise, $1M per employee canned. Guess the market isn't reacting positively to the shrink to greatness mentality, I mean Medtronic Mindset, since after all, we got to see how well it worked at GE.
Casual internet perusal suggests that insiders (like the board) own less than 1% and institutional investors (Vanguard et al) own more than 50%. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I think its like voting for president - your vote has little influence, but it still matters and its best to vote.
Low 70s soon!
How will you boot them out when you have like 100 shares and Geoff have 1 million?
