We have open reqs that we are currently interviewing candidates for. If there is a layoff in November, it will be very limited in scope. One of 2 people from every district is nothing. I’m fact, we can probably just shift them into one of our open positions similar to how we treated tower folks who were going to be let go.

Our VP (JP central region) told us that there are layoffs scheduled for November. We had to give names.

This is interesting. I am a Director and was told opposite by oir VP. I'm told layoffs are expected in November. We have lists of who will be in the next round. We are also told to freeze hiring and no promotions without EMT approval until further notice.

Is this even real? I’m sure they will have more layoffs in Q4. All signs are leading to it

Yes. There will be no more layoffs for 2023 or 2024. In fact, we will be hiring to provide additional support on the network side to reach our aggressive small cell build and rapid trenching initiatives. I saw that in a private email response from CL to a VP.
