Thread regarding Resideo Technologies layoffs

So many changes for nothing

Every restructuring and every change in processes and/or procedures makes my job harder instead of easier. Don't even get me started on layoffs, which always rob us of some of our best people while those I'd be happy to see removed always stay behind. None of these changes have been good. But I guess it makes it seem like the ELT is doing something, so they serve a purpose after all.

Most directors and VPs got high bonuses while giving names from their own teams for termination… dual faced, sneaky call it whatever but it is nasty behavior

Nothing optional. You must fit in.

It not about talent or abilities. It’s about culture and if you don’t fit you have to go. Simple as that.

Sadly not enough of the deadwood was let go. If it wasn’t for potential lawsuits everyone over 60 should be let go

A lot of talented and experienced people are now choosing to leave. Can't blame them. Nothing like watching all your hard work get flushed down the toilet by the know-it-all ELT.

Third quarter reorg was not a panacea so RIF, Reorg and Repeat. For an encore promote and hire more VP’s to position for success.
