For anyone who got laid off early September, be on the look out. My check was shorted $300 and no idea why. Also, has anyone received information on severance package??

Years ago, if you’re were a field employee, you were given cash ($1000, then they dropped it to $300 in 2009) upon leaving training school that was to be used in the field for things that Amex didn’t cover. This could be the reason for being short that amount.
My pay is also short. Everyone on this thread, please let us know if you make any progress with H/R and Payroll to get the money that's owed. I'd like to know who to talk to and what to do.
I too am $300 short. I emailed H/R and they don't know what they are talking about. It's very simple. You know what you get all the time in pay for the two weeks (10 workdays). You divide that pay by 10 working days and that's how much you are earning for one day. Then you multiply the daily amount by 8 (since you only worked 8 days and not 10 in that pay period). That is what you should be paid. I got $300 less and neither H/R nor Payroll are able to explain why. For now, I will wait patiently to see if I get $300 more in the next check. I don't think I will because it doesn't make sense why they wouldn't pay me my daily work pay for the days I'm actually working (before my layoff day). If they keep my $300, then I'm going to spam the millionaire executives and owners of this company to request that they give me my $300 that they owe me. It's not a big deal to them, but it is to us normal folks who have been laid off. I think they're "skimming" some of what they owe, kind of like in the movie Office Space.
I received mine, the day after my last day of employment. I’m still waiting for my boxes to return my laptop.
I emailed with HR about this today actually. It has to do with the layoff date and the pay cycle end date...in short, the money should be on your next check. Also, the docusign severance agreement is going out today and tomorrow.
