Most worthless and most expensive entity at GF are that fat short CEO and his useless SLT
EHS Safety team lacks the skill level needed for the job. There's only 2 people on the team with real knowledge of equipment electrical safety. they give free T-shirts and no one quits because of EHS.
The absolutely worse and useless team is HR and the ridiculous HRBP. So many good people have quit due to the incompetence and meddling of the HR team.
If I had to point to one cause for the failure of GF, it would be the HR team. They cause people to quit who would have helped make company a success
HR and Ethics are horrible at GF. However, they do take direction from the SLT so when we use the word horrible don't forget to include the SLT. Ethics only applies "sometimes" at GF depending upon who you are. If you are high enough SLT member you can do whatever you want and get away with it.

HR. Spent 15 yrs at Intel and 4 at Micron-EHS team at GF is much better than others.
HR and it's not even close.
