Why are phone reps getting fired for turning off surveys? I know so many managers that have told this to their reps over the years. Seems unfair and illegal to get terminated for what management told you to do. “If you know you’re going to get a bad survey, turn the feature off.” I would go ahead a sue the company.

Only people who had previous call avoidance behaviors were termed. If they say otherwise- they are lying.
Sooner or later everybody will be throwing everybody under the boss. Document in your notes discussions with your manager.
That’s bush league. Tell them who the manager was while they ask you about it. Deserves to go down with you.
