Latest I heard is that layoffs are more likely in October to meet the year-end deadline and the WARN 60 day notice.
Plus, with the push of RTO from October 1 to January seems to align to this rumor.
We will be in limbo another month.

October makes sense to me when you figure in the notice period. Get a bunch of people off the rolls by EOY, start “fresh” in January. But another month of this uncertainty is just nerve wracking. I’m looking elsewhere as I’m sure many are.
