Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Curious the real reason for rebadge

Hearing two answers on hcl rebadge. One is SF had many analysts nearing retirement, and they would be hard pressed to replace them. The other side is saying it was to cut cost.
Which is it? Wish there was some transparency and truth.

You might want to know facts before you post BS. State has obtained NAMING RIGHTS for AZ stadium, Atlanta arena and the University of Illinois Basketball arena. They don’t OWN any of the 3. Id--t.

You might want to google "State Farm Stadium". Great to see so many people who dont work here engaged in curiously passionate discussion that they know nothing about.

They have never bought a stadium. They have unloaded a lot of leased space and celebrity spokesman runs about 1 million a year for a 130 Billion dollar company.

The real reason is to save costs, and unload a lot of liability. They could just not lease the hubs no one wants to be at, and stop buying stadiums and celebrity endorsements to save costs, but this was deemed to be better.

Not my original post. I was just pointing out facts of growth and capital. You apparently cannot even define your own lies statement and other absurd comments.

Sooooo you don't deny that you are a paid SF stooge. I wonder why SF needs paid stooges??? Oh yeah to deflect and defend the CEZeros failures and the companies continuous downward spiral.

@7eki-what “lies” are you suggesting we’re made? SF has grown more than competitors and their capital base is highest in history.

Wow, a SF paid stooge spouting lies as the company literally bleeds billions of dollars. The board has a fiduciary duty to protect the company even from its CEO failure to do so i heard is negligence, malfeasance and punishable by firing and criminal prosecution. So if the board loves their fat cushy job they better do that job or go down with the titanic

Board loves him. He has taken a 100 year, industry leading company and expanded its lead and strengthened its financial standing to one of the most financially secure companies in the U.S.

Tipstard is running out of other folks to blame for his failures. He needs to go and if the board takes no action they need to go too.

SF set to lose billions for 2nd year in a row. Who will Tipsturd blame this year...the insureds...if it weren't for their bad driving. It's not your terrible workforce after letting the knowledgeable and experienced folks go to save a dime.

Company only cares about costs and policy count. This helps their cost metrics. People are not a factor.

Sold a bill of goods. What happens when “leadership” fails to do its due diligence and thinks employees can be replaced easily. Their egos won’t let them sit back and think “maybe this a d-mb decision”. The lack of accountability makes them “successful” every time

Assuming no truth because the same aholes claiming to save money are taking huge bonuses, building a new air plane hanger for bigger corporate jets.

@1yfn-pretty funny. This gloom and doom comment has been getting made every week for the past 10 years. All the while SF has grown larger in policy count and financial strength. Good thing no one depends on these sensational false forecasts.

Why instantly assume there’s no transparency or truth? If the answers make sense, maybe it’s because they’re really the answers.
