When you don’t get laid off?

Continue to look elsewhere. The merger never should have happened (did we learn nothing from 2008 and “too big to fail?”) and I’ve wanted out for a while. The last few months have intensified that.
Always glad we will be able to get our last bonus advance.
Enjoy a month of peace and quiet till Walt announces next round of layoffs.
Continue to grow my skills until I can find a job somewhere else.
Try and hang on - while burning thru all my sick time - until March / bonus payout. Then I’m gone.
Be grateful for my job, keep working hard, improve my skills, and stay with Schwab.
No employer is perfect...EVER. No Schwab team is perfect. I can choose to dwell on the negatives or I can look at all the positive things Schwab does have going for it, and the positive things my Schwab job provides me and allows me to do.
Keep collecting my fat paychecks!
I will be refusing to RTO come January and see what the firm decides to do about it/when
Try to stick it out for another year or two if I can. Continue to gather experience and then seek a new job when the economy and job market gets a little better.
Resign anyway. I'm done with Schwab.
I will continue to wonder why I am being punished working in Platform Engineering where egos reign and outdated tech work gets done.
Breathe a sigh of relief. Get back to my life. Buy some stuff!
I understand is a tough time, but why down vote any optimism... are you that miserable? nothing is life is ever guaranteed...
My badge worked this morning. I let out a little sigh, resigned myself to another day under yoke and made my way to my desk.
I’m quitting and leaving with my laid off friends. Leaving with or without package.
For myself, this entire thing has been a good reminder to keep my hard skills up to date and never get too comfortable. Once cd1 retention bonus is paid out I’ll be looking at leaving.
Upskill and move out . I feel there is definitely going to be some forced exits under performance umbrella come March .
Be grateful for now. Plan my exit in 2024. That’s the truth. This company is toast.
Be grateful I still have a job, and work twice as hard.
Resign on bonus payout day
