It would be nice if the EMT addressed all of the rumors swirling about another round of layoffs, the upcoming compensation cycle, returning to the office five days a week, and all the rest of it.
Bad news is never easy to swallow - but transparency goes a long way, especially when it comes to rebuilding trust with employees, which they've clearly lost completely at this point in time.
Everybody in my office is bracing for another round of layoffs and is trying to get ahead of it by getting our resumes updated and starting to apply for jobs now. It'd probably be smart for everyone reading this that Crown still employs to do the same. Nobody wants to be caught flatfooted.
