There was (is?) still a lot of overlap, which logically needed to be reduced based on the turn down of the legacy Sprint biller. Sadly there are a lot of people who should have seen the writing on the wall if they were still working on only legacy S systems and processes. Unfortunately many people didn’t have the ability to even try to learn anything ‘on the other side of the fence’, which made them obsolete. I’ve never felt’safe’, but don’t blame that on any particular person. It’s corporate life. Corporations are in the business of making as much money as they can, however they can. I learned the hard way a long time ago that everyone is expendable, most of the time it’s not personal, sometimes it really is because as someone else pointed out it’s an easier way to eliminate some that ARE dead weight (be honest, you know at least one person in your location who is just a grifter, and probably does the most whining). While it is incredibly tempting to become complacent if you are ‘safe’ this time, have your Plan B, and live well below your means unless you have a trust fund somewhere.
There still has to be significant overlap following the merger with Sprint 3+ years ago.
My guess is they'll cut as deeply as they think they can without negatively impacting operations.
For employees in WA State there is only 1 related WARN posted as of September 17. It was for 401 WA State employees to be laid off by October 24. The WARN posting date was August 25.
T-Mobile could post another WARN but it isn't there so don't post as if there is something else on the WARN list.

Only the stocks scheduled to vest Feb 2024 will vest. The rest are forfeited.

I have always wondered about employees who feel the need to trample on those who have lost a job. My guess is the the gene pool guy was a neighborhood bully and hasn’t grown up. If this is the caliber of the gene pool left standing the I wish t mobile good luck. You are not a positive influence in this site and I am certain your hostility bleeds over in the work place. Please grow up for the sake of your coworkers!
There will always be layoffs. This is the only way in this legal environment to get rid of w0rthless people without getting sued. I think we’ve done a great job this time with improving the workplace gene pool.
