I see lots of IBM commercials. Can IBM really be doing that bad? These WatsonX commercials seem to be getting some traction. Thoughts?

Their marketing, legal and financial shenanigans departments are top notch.
Always see them on Big Bang Theory reruns
Typically, Big organizations advertise to maintain a leading image when it has been slipping.
Just like the election period when you see cr-p on tv from politicians. I simply switch channels
It's for appearance all is well in the Danish kingdom so shareholders keep holding IBM's shares... I would worry to see such excessive ads targeting who exactly. ..?
I always wondered why IBM ever bothered to advertised given that they are a B to B enterprise and need to reach maybe 5-10k of potential decision makers worldwide. The last time their advertising was effective was when they were selling PC’s with the Charlie Chaplin character (B to C). Given that IBM is racing towards a fortune 1000 strategy, they would get more effective results from their advertising dollars by paying a rep a 1000 dollar bonus every time they made a 30 minute or longer face to face call with a decision maker. Yep nobody wants to hear it, but getting reps to pitch new or even old ideas to the decision makers is what moves the metal/SW/Services and as such, face to face calls are what needs to be incented. (people buy from people they know and like)
I see lots of McDonalds commercials. Doesn’t mean their food is good.
