Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Substance Abuse Employees

Why doesn’t Schwab just dr-g test their existing employees? That would probably thin out the herd of folks they wanna lay off.

No offense but they have rules for new hires but not existing employees.

Thoughts?

Because that would be incredibly expensive, potentially litigious with ca--abis, and not an effective way of thinning the herd based on value.

Why the fu-k would it matter how anyone spends their non-working time? The only thing that should ever matter is if your non-sober during working hours (or it affects performance/attendance).

Stupidest fu----g post I’ve seen yet.

Surprised they don't. They want control over all other aspects of our lives.

Probably because in some states certain dr-gs are legal (mari--ana) and they don’t want to get caught up in litigation between federal and state gov.

But, other hardcore dr-gs, I definitely agree with that.

I don't know why this is voted down. Best idea I've seen. Start with upper management.

Wouldn’t that cause half of the EC to get fired? You can’t convince me that some of their recent decisions weren’t made while high.

Yes, let's hear even more ways to scrutinize Schwab's minions and put them under the microscope even more, as they frantically try to work harder and harder to keep up with the EC's demands- just how much more miserable of a work environment can we create for Schwab's workforce? More of this please
