Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

TAYLOR SWIFT MAKES $4 MIL A YEAR..MT GETS $24 MIL BONUS!

So in addition to his BIG salary....MT has received a second year of a $24 MILLION bonus. My opinion, Taylor works much harder and makes more people smile and feel "remarkable". Hope the Board considers Taylor for the next CEO when MT leaves soon! Appears she would be a bargain! Not only more affordable, she seems to know how to motivate people (employees, fans, etc.) and get them to be their best. Plus, she has a tremendous business sense that seems really lacking in the SF world.

Somebody needs to hit the fact checker button. Taylor Swift has an estimated net worth of $600M… she could buy & sell MT.

He’s too rich to read your little post. He’s living his best life. Run along little doggie. And all managers need a raise.

Is SF going under??? They keep making changes to try and save money while lining their own pockets. It's bad really bad.

UAW is actually pretty interesting, because their past board was pretty corrupt (bribery and embezzlement), they changed up how the board is selected. It's now a direct election by union members, rather than a delegation system. The current president is new, after challenging a far more establishment incumbent.

He's the one that's behind the current negotiation and strike strategy. It's going to be really interesting if the far more aggressive strategy pays off.

Anyways, in today's connect with curt, there was a question about SF stance on unions. Shockingly, they are against them and listed out pretty much every anti-union talking point. Like "you don't get to speak as an individual to management" which, honestly, when was the last time Tippy actually understood that people in contact centers are actually human who have to do things like use the bathroom?

@3yxn…yeah. They’re on strike and who knows how it will end. But I know two things:

  1. The automakers will keep getting richer.
  2. The union bosses will keep getting richer.

The run of the mill union workers… who knows?

If TS is getting 345 M then MT is grossly underpaid.

SF wants to make it a production/metrics assembly line operation process. OK ---- UAW faces the same business model. Look where they are at now? Think about it.

They already do-it is contained in financial statements and state regulatory filings. They have no objections.

This is what I don't get about corporate America, why do these CEO's make millions and then outsource middle class folks that barely make enough to survive? They make millions even if the company does bad? Things like this needs to change, I'm not liberal or progressive but corporate pay is absurd compared what what the worker bees make and their cost of living.

What blows me away is he is responsible for a $13B loss and received a $24M bonus. I have to performance counsel claim handlers who don't cut off storage quickly enough and it costs us an extra $75. Did he put himself on an action plan, what are his commitments, and when can we expect to see results?

Not sure which is funnier the OP or the fact that most can't even identify a joke! Although having her do an executive briefing would certainly improve attendance and attention! Thanks for the smile!
