What is Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)?

I used to get the HRA potential balance at annual enrollment statement (i.e. 2014) but now I can't even find it online? Do we still have that benefit after retirement or did it get eliminated? How do I find out the balance. Appreciate any advice, thanks!

Age 55 plus 10 yrs experience hired before 2001, if retired early, for HRA pre-Medicare gets $1000 per month total for employee plus spouse, until Medicare eligible.

Once Medicare kicks in, there’s no HRA but you get $1800 per year health benefit to spend. Not sure if that indexes up each year into the future.

Not sure what @mzk is quoting from.

You must be age 55 with 10 years of service to qualify for HRA.

HRA grows by $800/yr plus a little interest. If you are age 55+ with 20 years of service you will get $16K plus interest upon separation.
