In AS, they will start requiring people to come in the office 5 days a week for CD1 integration starting next week. Those without medical accommodations and refuse to not come I to the office, managers are instructed to take corrective action.

Of course it was a success. Everything Schwab does is marketed as a success both internally and externally. Schwab has never failed at anything they've tried. #schwamily
That bad? Why did Naveen from AST painted a picture yesterday that the integration was a success?
The fact that we still have thousands of accounts that have incorrect cussing, incorrect linking, information, etc. It doesn't surprise me. We have accounts that didn't come over with Standing instructions, accounts that are linked up to completely incorrect advisors, incorrect clients, social security numbers where phone numbers should be. Accounts are missing pertinent notes for pledge accounts, duplicate paperwork and signatures, duplicate trades, incorrect addresses... the list goes on for days. It's been nonstop around the clock. Integration is far from over and the press releases are simply comical. Those of us slaving through it pulling tons of overtime realize that while some issues are to be expected, this is a complete sh-t show.
I'm just a little guy here but I'm just curious, what makes you think CS gives a sh-t about its reputation? Has the sh---y way Facebook Amazon Google and the others treated their employees affected their profitability or reputation? CS follows the FAANG giants. They WFH, CS WFH, they RTO then CS wants employees to RTO. Besides, the times have changed. They simply don't give a sh-t anymore, IMO.
CD1 is over. Why the sudden change? That’d be the kiss of death for this company to ignore the exception process at this point. That su-ked badly enough, but to now say sc--w it would send people off the rails.
Well we had all hands AST meeting today and Naveen praised and mentioned it was a huge success.
AST = advisor services technology
AS = advisor services
Sept 18th 2024?
Sorry for my ignorance. What does AS stand for? Account Services?
I wonder if this means that TD didn’t go as smoothly as the higher ups thought it would.
I heard the same from my manager today. He said this was announced in a manager meeting today as a response to the email that went out from AS Leadership. I bet this is just the start for them pulling back their WPF strategy even more.
Effective September 18, 2023, AS Service and WST will be required to come in 5 days a week for at least two weeks.
Man, the integration is over. What are you blabbering ?
