The way the EC has went about their business the past couple months has indeed alienated employees. No one gives a $hit about this company after all of this. The anxiety that they are purposefully dragging everyone through, and their lies about RTO are creating a new breed. Yes I no longer have any loyalty to this company… BUT as this drags into the 3rd month, I find my hate growing. I want to tell everyone I know to stay away from Schwab, I want to work for one of their direct competitors and bury them, I want to start my own brokerage - grow it into an empire, perform a hostile takeover and lay off the EC with no golden parachutes. THIS is how villains are born.

Calm down, bruh. I mean…..I agree with you, but chill. Don’t let them stress you out.
But you’ll still give all 5’s on your Glint Employee Engagement surveys, please? We gotta keep those numbers up!
I'm still stuck on RTO cafeteria hours............
While I strongly agree with the OP in sentiment the whole thread is goofy and fudge.
Lol.
I don’t care anymore. I’ll do just the bare minimum needed from me. If they lay me off because of it, so be it.
I absolutely hate every single thing about Schwab now. For 13 years I bragged about working for Schwab and now I just feel disgust, resentment and hate. Someone said the way they are treating us is degrading and it is. EC is vile for how they handled all of this. I can’t wait to resign!
Damn son. I think it’s time you grab a six pack of High Life.
It’s funny that you mention this. I have caught myself becoming very “anti” Schwab as well. It’s a very odd feeling after you’ve been at a place for 20 years and they treated you great for the first 19.
Hate can be a very powerful motivator. This isn’t they way any self respecting company would go about cutting staff. It is degrading. Sad thing is that they are well aware of what and how they are doing.
