Health Insurance After Ford Insurance Expires

For anyone NOT receiving Ford Retiree Health Care, BUT did receive some HRA money from Ford due to 10+ years service: I signed up for healthcare through healtcare.gov and qualified for significant tax credit subsidies. I was told I can NOT take tax credit subsidies AND use the Ford HRA money to pay my remaining insurance premium since the government views this as DOUBLE DIPPING.

Has anyone been able to find any documentation on this? I don't want to start using my HRA to pay premiums and find out at tax time that I really messed up.

Can I use the HRA money to pay an after tax premium for a medical plan through another employer?
I already know what VIA Benefits would say, but not sure if their canned answer would be correct or not.
One thing you can count on with VIA Benefits is a different answer with each different person.

What are the health insurance premium price after Ford insurance expired? Ford only assist for 18 months.

Remember, you still have to pay your monthly contribution to keep your Ford provided health insurance after you get SIRP'd.

Kind of limits the value of that severance considering it gets withheld at the supplemental rate.

This Ford HRA benefit is a joke then. My tax credits are worth significantly more than the HRA “Benefit” Ford “gave” me.

Yes, I researched this last year and found documentation saying this is double dipping. I'll try and find this info, though it may have been in the gigantic stack of info Ford sent me when I submitted my retirement request.
